Trying to write this Bills Patriots preview has been challenging.  All I keep thinking about is – how does it feel to be 3-0?!  If you don’t already have tickets for the game, we have a limited inventory remaining for the hottest ticket in town.  There are even a few parking passes available for purchase.  We were also featured on Channel 4 News in Buffalo this week!

After an up-and-down season in 2018, the Buffalo Bills have opened-up this year swinging.  As we stated in our season preview, people are starting to take notice of this complete Bills team.  After two consecutive road wins at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and a win against the Cincinnati Bengals at home, the Bills have some great momentum heading into Sunday. It’s true – the Bills are the only NFL team in New York. It’s also true that if this team continues to rise and win games, Buffalo Bills tickets will see increased prices. While the games against the Eagles and Patriots are expensive, ticket prices for the other games remain more affordable. With four out of the next five Bills games being at New Era Field, your best bet is to buy them while you can!

What to Watch For in the Bills Patriots Game?

Kyle Peko

Bad news came out of One Bills Drive this week when it was revealed that second-year DT Harrison Phillips tore his ACL and will be out for the remainder of the season. The loss hurts as Phillips was beginning to take over starting reps from Star Lotulelei. Enter Kyle Peko. The Bills called up Peko from the practice squad this week and he’ll look to fill in for Phillips. Peko’s wife was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma earlier this year and recently announced that she is now cancer-free. This should be an emotional game for him.  Because of that, he may come away with a few big plays.

Josh Allen

If the Bills are going to win on Sunday, they need an almost-perfect game from their quarterback.  Josh Allen tends to get caught up in “hero ball” too much.  While sometimes it works, it also ends up in disaster at least once per game. The Patriots have always excelled in capitalizing on the other team’s mistakes.  Former Buffalo Bill Stephon Gilmore will be waiting like a shark for Allen to cough up the ball. He absolutely must use his head this week and learn to take a sack or throw the ball away when a play isn’t there.

The Bills’ run defense

The Bills’ run defense will be instrumental in winning this game against their perennial bullies. In past years, the Patriots have been able to gash the Bills both in the running game and by Tom Brady’s arm. This season, however, the Patriots haven’t been particularly good at running the ball. In fact, the case has been made that through three weeks their run game has been their biggest weakness. While most of their other stats are among the best in the league, they currently rank 20th in total rushing yards and 28th in yards per attempt. If the Bills’ defense can shut them down even further on Sunday, they can focus on pressuring Tom Brady, rattling him, and causing the future Hall-Of-Famer to make a few mistakes of his own.
